Working on the R sound with Micah and I couldn't find an R song online that I wanted to teach. Solution? Invent my own. So here is The Robot Song and Dance sung to the tune of "I'm a little teapot".
I’m a little robot, hear me out
(cup hand over ear)
I beep and I buzz and I never pout
(shake head and make frowning pout)
‘Cause everything I ev-er need to do
(point to chest)
Comes into my hard drive straight from you.
(point to kids)
I’m a little robot, my name is Red
I don’t ever sleep or go to bed
(close eyes and put cheek on hand like sleeping)
I really like the “R” sound when you sing
(nod and smile)
It starts my name and also r-r-r-ing.
(wave hands around during rrrring)

(point to self)
You should know the R sound pretty well.
(point to kids or others)
My buttons flash red just like my name
(wiggle fingers for flash)
If you reboot me, I’ll start again.
(pretend to press button and turn in a circle as pretend rebooting occurs)
